Elite Status Membership

There are three levels for Eastern Miles Elite Status membeiships:Platinum,Gold and Sliver。

Qualification Requirements:

Members can qualify for Platinum,Gold or Silver status by earning the required number of Elite Qualification Points (EQP) or Elite Qualification Segments (EQS) in 12 successive calendar months.

*The Elite card will be issued within 15 working days from the date of the membership qualification requirements being met. Elite members can enjoy the elite benefits by showing the plastic elite card or the electronic one.

*"Eastern Miles" Platinum, Gold and Silver Status is valid for 12 successive calendar months. If a member re-claims his/her points, the validity period of his/her points and the elite membership evaluation period will be calculated from the re-claiming date.

②When Eastern Miles Silver members take CEA flights:
Piece Count: 1 pcs (within 32KG) for First / Business Class, 1 pcs (within 23KG) for Economy Clas

④ By showing Elite cards, specified First-Class or Business-Class Lounges are accessible to Eastern Miles Platinum and Gold members; and the specified airport lounges are accessible to Eastern Miles silver members. When Eastern Miles Platinum and Gold members visit first-class or office-class lounges, he/she can invite one travel companion, who takes a CEA flight on the same day to the lounge.

⑥When Eastern Miles Platinum members take outboard flights in Economy class, VIP Ferry Ride is provided under given conditions when the aircraft does not stop at the covered bridge. VIP Ferry Ride is only provided to First class and Business class customers who take inboard flights. The actual service is available or not based on local airport conditions.

⑦Platinum card members are entitled to free point redemption or purchase of priority seats. "Eastern Miles" only announces the preferential standard of the product, and whether the product can be purchased or redeemed shall be subject to the original passenger ticket regulations.

⑧During elite member validity period, Eastern Miles Platinum, Gold and Silver members can make an overdraft of miles up to 12000, 6000, 3000 points respectively. After overdraft of points, all consumption points recorded in the account will be used to reimburse the overdrawn points as a matter of priority.

⑨ If Eastern Miles Platinum Card, Gold Card and Silver Card members take flights in a booking class ineligible for Points Earning, they can not earn Elite Bonus Points. Eastern Miles Platinum Card, Gold Card and Silver Card members can also enjoy benefits when taking flights operated by KN.

⑩In 48 hours before the plane departing and in the case of spare seats are available, the application for award flight ticket and awarded upgrading is guaranteed for the platinum card holder

⑪After Eastern Miles Platinum members redeem CEA Flight Award Tickets and Upgrade Award Seats for himself/herself or his/her beneficiary, if he/she voluntarily refund his/her ticket during his/her elite member validity period, points are refundable. If the Platinum member redeems CEA Flight Award Tickets by round-trip standards, he/she can make one of the segments voluntarily refund and the balance of points will be refunded to the member's account, after deducting the one-way points of used segment.

⑫ Eastern Miles Platinum Card members, holding Economy Class or Premium Economy Class tickets other than X class, can enjoy unlimited free upgrade benefits when taking CEA non-stop flights within mainland China:

1)Eastern Miles Platinum Card member himself/herself can apply for upgrade from Economy Class or Premium Economy Class to Business Class when taking CEA non-stop flights within mainland China if Business Class seats are available. Eastern Miles Platinum Card member himself/herself can apply for upgrade from Economy Class to Premium Economy Class if Business Class seats are not available but Premium Economy Class seats are available.

2)Flight upgrade benefit shall not apply to the case that first class and luxury class are as target classes;

3)The coupons are considered as being used for Mainland China flights which are operated by China Eastern Airlines and Shanghai Airlines, and booked as 781 tickets. If it is an SPA inter-airline flight (including the flight segment in the ticket not used involves the *MU flight not actually operated by MU/FM) or non-CEA UATP paid tickets, it is not eligible for upgrade by using the Flight Upgrade Coupon.

4)Platinum card members who enjoy Upgrade Privilege need to apply for check-in and Upgrade Privilege as China Eastern Airlines Platinum Card members. The order of upgrades depends on the application time of Platinum Card members. Please refer to China Eastern Airlines official website for details of the applicable terminal where you can apply for online upgrade self-service.

5)After being upgraded, free baggage allowance of the target class cannot be enjoyed and food supply of the upgraded class is not guaranteed. Points shall be accumulated as per the original fare class of the segment after travelling.

6)Platinum Card members who apply for upgrade benefits cannot reserve the seats in advance class.

7)Free upgrade benefits will not be guaranteed, if the flight is a stop-over flight (including two segments are purchased as two separate tickets), irregular flights occurring, owing two or more tickets on the same flight, or if Platinum Card member has applied for services such as special meals, special service, travelling with baby/babies or child/children, carrying through check-in baggages and so on.

⑬Eastern Miles Platinum member himself/herself can enjoy 4 Free Upgrade Coupons for International and China Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions flights during his/her elite member validity period. When she/he holds the ticket of economy class or office class ticket except X/O class, he/she may apply by dialing Eastern Miles Platinum service line, or logging into CEA official website or CEA APP.

1)When there are seats available for Free Upgrade on the International and China Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions flights, on flights with economy class/premium economy class/business class and luxury office class, it is only possible to have an upgrade award from economy/premium economy to business class; on the flights with economy class/office class/first class, it is allowed to have an upgrade award from economy class to business class or from office class to first class.

2)Flight upgrade benefit shall not apply to the case that the luxury business class is as target class;

3)The coupons are considered as being used for the International and China Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions flights which are operated by China Eastern Airlines and Shanghai Airlines, and booked as 781 tickets. If it is an SPA inter-airline flight (including the flight segment in the ticket not used involves the *MU flight not actually operated by MU/FM) or non-CEA UATP paid tickets, it is not eligible for upgrade by using the Flight Upgrade Coupon.

4)After using the Flight Upgrade Coupon, you should make up the difference of taxes if they are changed;

5)No free baggage fare of the target class can be enjoyed after upgrading. Points shall be accumulated.

6)After upgrading, the travel restrictions of the original ticket are still applicable. The voluntary return of the Flight Upgrade Coupon shall be deemed that it has been used.

7)In case of irregular flight, free upgrade benefits are not guaranteed (when endorsed to other airlines, tickets will be handled according to the fare class).

⑭Eastern Miles Platinum members can choose Added-Value benefits or make benefit reservations through Platinum Card-dedicated line or China Eastern Airlines website.

The value-added services are limited to the Platinum Card members. Once confirmed, it can't be changed or cancelled.

* If Eastern Miles Elite Benefits are inconsistent with the product terms, the product terms shall prevail.
