According to the announcement released by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, from 5:00 pm on February 2, EDT, except for U.S. citizens, permanent residents and immediate family members of U.S. citizens and permanent residents from China to the United States, the United States will temporarily deny entry to all travelers having visited China within 14 days, regardless of nationality.
Regarding the policy, any passenger who has purchased China Eastern 781tickets with the flights operated by MU to the U.S. between Jan 24 and June 30, 2020, but unable to enter the U.S. normally can be rescheduled once within the ticket validity period, free of exchange fees. The ticket is allowed to be rescheduled to the same route of China Eastern before June 30, 2020, or the ticket can be refunded through the original purchase channels, free of refund fees.
In order to avoid the restriction of your travel, it is recommended that you arrange your travel reasonably, acquire and comply with the relevant entry regulations of the destination country in advance, to prevent the loss caused by unsuccess of entry.
